Clocks
The mantel clocks are unusual original pieces, inspired by nature and the effects of time. They are handmade with great attention to detail.
Wall design
Walls can be more than white. The design of the walls with multi-layered glazes, painting, or simple geometric shapes is done in close consultation with the client.
Objects
The sculptures, individual furnishings and unique objects are mostly created as personal commissioned work.
Film and stage
Building sets and individual props for films, shows and theatre requires a combination of creativity and technical understanding.
My name is Richard Collins, I was born in Dudley, England. I studied art at Birmingham University. Since 1989 I have been living and working in Berlin, Germany.
I spend a lot of time creating objects in my small workshop in a courtyard in the middle of Berlin. I am inspired by nature and by close observation of all sorts of creatures. My attention is often drawn to things starting to break down and show the effects of ageing. Therefore "time" is an important element of my work.
