Where is who I was and am

"Where is who I was and am" is a Ginger Foot Films production directed by Matthias Bundschuh (Trailer).

The marionette film is based on the short story "The Jinn" by Franz Werfel. I was responsible for building the lighthouse and the island, which had to stand in a large basin of water. The cliffs are inspired by rock formations on the Welsh coast.

The puppets were made by the Salzburger Marionetten Theater and Matthias Bundschuh.

Horse

The horse was commissioned by Komische Oper Berlin for the production  "Köng Blaubart"  (Trailer).

The project was a collaboration with Ben Tyrrell.

The internal structure for the horse was built out of wood and wire. The outer shell was modeled with Varaform and covered with an artificial fur. It was worn by two actors who also provided the horses legs, and had to support an opera singer riding it.

Black Book

Black Book is a film by Paul Verhoeven (Trailer) made at Babelsberg Filmstudios.

As part of a team of painters I was responsible for marbling walls and painting floor tiles.

Morgen stirbt Berlin

"Götterdämmerung - Morgen stirbt Berlin" is a German film by Joe Coppoletta.

I painted the bombs, built by a prop maker, to look as though they had been buried underneath Berlin for over 50 years.
